Mobile Air conditioning Highlights.
2007 highlights include the now well established KY-44B, the most powerfull monobloc A/C unit currently available.
We would also like to draw your attention to the 3.5kW York Pacific 12 monobloc because of its fantastic build quality and quieter noise levels. Each Pacific 12 is supplied with an array of very good quality bits and pieces. The best of which is probably this adjustable window slider kit which will fill the gap in (say) a raised sash window. The exhaust hose and condensate pipe then fits into prepared holes in the slider kit. Very neat and very tidy! Please note the Pacific 12 is fitted with a condensate pump which pumps the condensate out at the rear of the unit to a head of over 3 metres if required.
Through Wall/Window Units
For this summer we have also increased our portfolio of window units, which now includes three different brands. We should draw your attention to the DPAC units as they will operate in low ambients in both heating and cooling modes, and are ideal for all year round operation in conservatories.
VAT REDUCED ON AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
As announced in the 2005 Budget, the installation of air source heat pumps in residential accommodation has become subject to the reduced VAT rate of five per cent. The reduced VAT rate only applies to equipment which is both supplied and fitted to residential accommodation.
This has provided a welcome reduction in cost to consumers having heat pump air conditioning systems installed into their homes in the UK, and in most cases it will now be cheaper for consumers to have heat pump systems fitted in preference to cooling only systems.
