Evaporative Coolers
Evaporative Coolers provide a “Sea Breeze” effect by simply taking hot air and passing it over wet filter pads. With much reduced running costs, evaporative coolers can be cost-effective particularly in large open plan areas such as a station, factory or warehouse for “spot cooling” individuals rather than trying to air condition a vast area.
Evaporative Coolers should only be installed into ventilated areas, which is of course the exact opposite of a typical air conditioning application. If the area is not ventilated the relative humidity in the room will increase to such an extent that the evaporation and cooling process will not be able to take place. High humidity levels can also lead to paper swelling and other unforseen developments.
That said, sometimes there is simply no option and a shop with a permanently open entrance may actually suit having Evaporative Coolers installed in preference to proper air conditioning!
Overall, the brand new P10 (see above pic) and P20 units represent the best value for money. They are stylish and effective, and will truly fit in with most shop and office interiors.
